Nice is attacked on Bastille Day

On July 14th, Bastille Day, France saw yet another terrorist attack.  Yesterday’s event was France’s third terrorist attack in 19 months. The attacker was 31-year-old Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel born in Tunisia. At around 10:45 pm, Bouhlel drove a 19-ton truck into a crowd of people who were celebrating in the streets. 9 Britons Try to Join the Islamic State in Syria

Nine British people have been stopped at the Turkey Syria border. It is believed that they are trying to enter Syria illegally to fight for the Islamic State. The group includes three men, two women and four children. They have been stopped by the Turkish police. Around 600 Brits have left the UK to go to Syria and Iraq to fight for Islamic State, including many teenagers. However, this may be the first time that a family has tried to enter the dangerous, war-torn area with children. 19 Confirmed Dead in Tunisia Museum Attack

The gun attack on Bardo museum in Tunis yesterday killed 17 tourists and 2 Tunisian nationals. The President of Tunisia Beji Caid Essebsi said that the country is now “at war with terror”. Tourists Killed in Tunisia Museum

UPDADTED: 17 tourists and 2 Tunisians have been killed in a museum in Tunis, the capital of Tunisia. The tourists were of Spanish, German, Italian and Polish nationalities. Police in Northern Ireland have discovered a plan to bomb the Game of Thrones studio. Republicans planned to leave a bomb in the area where staff take their breaks.
