This lesson plan is suitable for all ages from intermediate level and above. There are different options depending on whether or not your students are familiar with Easter and celebrate it themselves, or if it is something new to them.

The main lesson takes about half an hour. It includes a short reading on ‘little known facts about Easter’; its Anglo-Saxon origin and how it is celebrated in modern times,  as well  conversation/ discussion questions relating to festivals in general.

There’s also a fun extra activity: an Easter Hunt. That should also take about half an hour.
